I know I was talking about these in IRC with snowman but does anyone know any particularly fun and challenging wargames? I know way back when I got pretty far into vortex on pulltheplug(Which I guess is now overthewire). What are some other ones that people around here like to play when they're bored?

I havent actually played them but hackthissite.org and/or rootthisbox.org

reading phrack

smashthestack.org has some wargames along similar lines to PullThePlug/OverTheWire

Also, roothack.org of course :P

Hi there!
Fairly new here.
Thought I give those wargames a shot.
Only programming doesn't rock so much after a while, however:
I cannot login.
I posted the last few lines of output below.
AUTH_FAILED control message means I have a problem with my login. is it due to me having an empty space in my name?
sincerely

So you need to be using the same login and password for this site.

I am using the same credentials for the login as I am using for the website.
